The Thought of the Day

It is never really what it seems. The Bible says, “We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers, and the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph 6:12 So, in other words, though it seems like the battles we are having on a daily basis are with people, situations, and things in our natural lives, in actually that is not the real battle at all. The battle is with things that though very present are not seen. It is definitely a real battle, but not one that can be fought with our hands because it is with invisible, yet tangible things that are daily trying to fight against us. But they are not necessarily trying to fight against our physical person as much as they are trying to come against our mind in an attempt to gain our soul. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy our peace, our joy, and everything that God has placed on the inside of us that he knows is a threat to him and his kingdom if we should ever come into the knowledge of who we really are. So, it is an enemy that is at war with our purpose and our destiny not necessarily our flesh though it is my flesh that is caught in the middle and used at times as a weapon against us if allowed to. The enemy that has sent an assault against you and me from a place that cannot be seen with our natural eyes is not one that can be combatted with our natural abilities. The only way to defeat this enemy is by fighting from a realm that it is in or greater. We must fight this battle that we now know is not physical but spiritual through supernatural means that can only be obtained in the Spirit, not in our flesh. This battle is one that must be fought on our faces and knees, not with our hands. Being that it is spiritual, and bringing the onslaught of a spiritual attack, retaliation must be too be spiritual in return. And so, because our flesh is what is affected by earth, the battle which is obviously spiritual feels like it is our reality, but it is NEVER really what it seems. There is always a spiritual influence in operation trying to attack us in the earth so that what we have been sent here to do will not be accomplish. Hear me and hear me well! THE DEVIL IS A WHOLE LIAR and so are all your cohorts. We are more than conquerors and through Christ WE ARE VICTORIOUS. No matter what the enemy tries to bring against us, we still win. We overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony! My testimony is that GOD IS STILL GOOD! And whatever the enemy meant for evil the LORD will always turn it around for His good and ours! So, no worries, ITS NEVER REALLY WHAT IT SEEMS! The things of this world will one day pass away because they are all temporary. Only things above are eternal. So, even though the enemy that I can’t see with my natural eyes may try to come against me in my flesh with spiritual weapons, I will not be moved because I know through FAITH none of his weapons will prosper. I determine within myself to fight this spiritual war with spiritual warfare, putting on the spiritual armor of God and using the spiritual weapons given to me by my Father that are not carnal but MIGHTY to the pulling down of every stronghold that might try to exalt itself against me. I encourage you to do the same. Don’t be distracted by the natural. Walk according to the Spirit and not be the flesh and watch God continue to move on your behalf. He has got you.
