My Jeremiah 20:11 Moment:

I was sitting here thinking about the retreat and the Lord bought back to my remembrance something He told me would happen months ago. There was a young lady that wanted to attend but was having some scheduling issues because of a family event. When the issue started presenting itself, the Lord told me, “she would not be attending”. At first, I questioned God because I thought I must have heard Him wrong. This woman at the time was helping me find the location of the retreat. But He kept putting that on my heart. So, I told her what the Lord said that “She would not be attending.” She got upset at the time and registered anyway. Well, long story short, some things happened this weekend and it would seem that what I believed God said, in the beginning, is coming to pass. This has been heavy on my heart all weekend. Then as I sat on the side of my bed, the Lord brought back to my remembrance what He had told me MONTHS ago! It all makes sense! He knew what would happen before anything happened at all! His ways are not our ways and His thoughts not our thoughts. His ways and thoughts are so much greater and higher than ours. He Knew and He Prepared me for it though I had no idea at all what was going to happen. I'm just thankful to God this morning for the PEACE in a moment of KNOWING that even in situations that don't feel or turn out the way we would like, God is in control. He knows our heart in the matter and He has already prepared the way before it even gets there.
