My Thought of the day:

It amazes me how so many get offended when you try to shed truth on the lies that we have accepted as our realities. Many would rather stay in a place that keeps them operating at their minimal capacity and their minimal existence instead of gaining knowledge in order to excel to a higher level! I realize, however, before that takes place you must first be willing to transform your thinking and that comes through choice! Not even God will force us to choose wisely though He does acknowledge that the abscence of knowledge is the root cause of many people perishing. Not that knowledge was not there, but because He made knowledge available yet many refuse to take it. See, Some of us get so settled in what we think we know that we wont venture out to discover what is unknown to us which is unfortunate because alot of times what we think we know is not even based on facts or the Truth! We allow it to become our truth because we refuse to apply ourselves to seek knowledge. Knowledge holds the key to our purpose! Without it we allow ourselves to be held in containments by our limited understanding when nothing in life ever stays the same. We, by choice, keep ourselves in self inflicting limitations when God is trying to shift us to an elevated place. We decide, through our actions or lack thereof, to stay low when our posture should be High, seated with Christ in Heavenly place. We decided whether or not we allow the truth of the word to enter into our hearts and minds so change and transformation can take place. I am sure most of you have heard about the prayer of Jabez or at least read the book. But for those of you that have not, let me briefly explain the moral of the story. Jabez got tired of being in a low place! He got tired of being considered one of the less than even by his mother! Jabez wanted more! So, he went to God in prayer asking Him to “Enlarge his territory!” However, When Jabez went to God, he wasnt just asking the Lord to change his mailing address or his generalized location! He was asking the Lord to enlarge EVERYTHING that was attached to his purpose, which encompassed his outer and his inner self, those that knew him, and those that knew about him! He said, “Lord, Enlarge my territory!” See, Jabez knew that in order to go to a New place that he had never been before he had to breakthrough the old boundaries that were restraining him. Jabez had to break free from the words and opinions formed about him. He had to break free from the shame that had attached to him and the blame that had been thrown on him! Jabez needed God to expand the territory of his mind before He could expand the territory of his location! He needed God to change his THINKING because in order to go to a new place he had to first be able to visualize his arrival there! Jabez had to have a BREAKTHROUGH of his mind first before he could breakthrough to his destiny! He had to unmask the lies that had been spoken over his life by those that should have known him or, should I say, thought they knew him, even including his own mother, in order to allow the truth to be planted revealing who God had created him to be! Knowledge is powerful and the foundation of knowledge is TRUTH. It is said that “the truth will set you free.” Well, it is not only truth alone that sets us free, but the KNOWLEDGE of the Truth that sets us free! Truth is the only way to increase your knowledge! Thats why Jesus said to come to Him as little children because children are teachable! They are always open to gain more knowledge! I say all that to say, Dont get offended when someone presents you with information that may or may not have been known to you! Stay teachable! There is a saying, “chew the meat and spit out the bones!” Apply what belongs to you and move on because in reality we never fully arrive to the fullness of our destiny. We are daily trying to attain! But the only way to Lay hold of what has already been laid hold of for you, is through knowledge. Let the Lord “Enlarge Your Territory”. Even when you think you know it all, there is still so much more to learn. Thats my thought of the day! God bless you all. Remember I love you, but God loves you more! Stay encouraged and stay teachable there is so much more that God has for us, His children. And in all things, always remember to Just KeepPUSHn!
