Thought of the Day: I ministered a word last night on how "God loves the sinner, but hates the sin" and their was a comment posted that we are supposed to love what He loves and hate what He hates. So, if He loves the sinner and EVERYONE has sinned and fallen short of His glory (Rom 3:23), then we too must love EVERYONE, both saved and unsaved, because we have ALL sinned and fallen short. But the second part of that is the part that most of us struggle with. We feel that If God loves us then He must love as were are and love everything about us and accept it or receive it as acceptable. Sin is not acceptable at all to God. It is actually considered an offense against Him, His Kingdom, and His character carrying a punishment attached to it of death because it is considered illegal in the Kingdom of God because it comes against the principles and standards of the King and His Kingdom. So, as believers and followers of Christ what comes against the King or His Kingdom comes against us. Its like somebody coming into your house and breaking something or disrespecting your rules. Even though you may love them, what they did in your house was unacceptable. So, either they are going to obey your rules and respect you and your house or they will not be welcome into your house. It's not that you don't love them. It's that what they are doing goes against you and your house and cannot be allowed or it will cause chaos. There is no difference from someone coming into your house or property and offending it and someone coming against God's House or Kingdom and being an offense against it. Both are illegal operations. Now think of this, If you have children that live with you in your house, what affects you affects your children and anyone else in your house. As Kingdom citizens., we belong to the household of God. Therefore what affects His household affects us. So, where we must love what and who He loves, we must also hate what and who He hates because we are of His house and what comes against Him comes against us. In order to maintain order and peace in His house and His Kingdom, our opinion, beliefs, and culture must align with His opinions, beliefs, and culture. Everything about us must reflect Him and everything about Him must be displayed through us. So, like the children of the King that we are and the household of the Kingdom that we represent it is necessary in order for us to stay in alignment with our Father and protect our house, Love what He loves and hate what He hates! Anything outside of that leaves room for sin to enter into our Kingdom and that my brothers and sisters cannot be! Stop accepting things that are not acceptable to our Daddy and His house. Stop being lukewarm christians. Stand with the your Father because He is standing with you. Keep it simple! Love what He loves and Hate what He hates. Love the sinner but you, Like HIM, cannot love or accept the sin as being acceptable. Love you all! God Bless you! Until next time, Let's KeepPUSHn!
