Thought of the Day How long do we as a people sit back and watch injustice and do nothing about it? How long do we turn a blind eye and keep a muzzle on our mouth while declaring our love for the One who is Righteous as if our acts of silence are righteous before Him? How long do we talk about God and offer Him up lip service without representing the essence of who He is in our character and moral aptitude? I ask myself these questions this morning as I watched yet another video of a another unarmed, non-resistant, black man getting shot senselessly in broad day light in the middle of the street by two murderers dressed in a uniform! My heart was troubled by the repeated, blatant disregard for life and anger began to swell within me as I watched the video numerous times asking myself WHY. Then I began to think on God and how much He loves each and every one of us, the sinner and the saved, and how what is happening today must literally be breaking the Father’s Heart even greater than it was breaking mines. We have gotten so far away from our mandate as human beings created in the Image of God. We have negated our purpose and our assignment given to us at the foundations of the earth by our Creator to subdue (bring under control by force) and take dominion (govern, control, rule over). Where we should be establishing the Kingdom of God in the Earth, instead through our ACTIONS and lack of action, we have in actuality been establishing another Kingdom. Though we were created in His Image, we have not been representing Him well at all. We should look like Him, act like Him and smell like Him at all times. When people see us, they should see Him. We are supposed to be the light in darkness, not become a part of the darkness we were created to change. Silence in the midst of injustice is not righteousness nor humility. It is not who or what Christ stood for! He came against injustice and systems that we coming against His people! And His people were not those that claimed to know the law! His people were all of us that were willing to follow Him! But Jesus was clear in telling them, that if they were going to follow Him that would not be easy! It was going to require alot from those claiming to be disciples and followers! He said they would have to ,”Eat of My flesh and drink of My Blood”, they would have to take part in the “fellowship of His suffering”, “deny themselves and take up their cross”! He NEVER said our walk with Him would be easy and He NEVER said that what would be required of us would feel good, but it is all necessary in order to bring down kingdoms that were established to come against Him and His kingdom! In fact, Mathew 11:12 says, “the Kingdom of God suffers violence and the violent taketh by force!” In order to establish His Kingdom we must TAKE our authority given to us and by FORCE establish God’s Kingdom in the Earth once again! We cannot continue to sit idly by acting powerless! That is not Kingdom and that is not righteous! That is false humility submitting to a lesser kingdom governed by the the devil himself. True Righteousness is being in right alignment with the Kingdom of GOD! We must be like Christ and Cry LOUD and spare not anything and everything that goes against God and His character and His Kingdom! If we are going to claim to be followers of Christ, we must represent who He is and who/what/where He represents! Take the muzzles off your mouths people of GOD and speak out against the wrongs you see. Stop just addressing the problem but doing nothing to be a part of the solution! Lets REALLY be about our Fathers business and do what He sent us to do, ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM! I Love yall, but God Loves you more! Let’s KeepPUSHn TOGETHER!
